Family Vacation
June 2 to July 10, 2000
|
I called my dad to see what's up, and he told me he was going on a
trip to visit the family and for Grandmama's 85th birthday party. So
I tell him how nice it would be to actually see my family that I haven't
seen in many years. Luckily he offered a couple of seats in the motorhome
for Danielle and I. We excitedly took the offer and we were on our way... This trip was the 85th anniversary reunion for my Mom to which I invited
my new friend Dee and my son Eric and his wife Danielle to meet the
family. Soon after we left Columbus Ohio where Eric lives, I realized
inviting them was the best idea I ever had for a most enjoyable trip
back to Canada. Every day was filled with pleasant conversations and
laughters all the way to and from the reunion. It was the first time
for Dee to this part of Canada's french culture and a chance for her
to see where I came from. Of course they loved it and the family welcomed
them with their usual hugs and kisses which made anyone feel at home
right away. |

We
started in Columbus where Charles and Dee picked us up.
